WHO WE ARE Jyotisha, who has been practicing yoga and meditation daily since 1972, is a physician practicing natural medicine (homeopathy) in San Diego, California. Maha'devii (his wife) who has been practicing yoga and meditation daily since 1987, is a licensed acupuncturist with a diploma in homeopathy, and a 15-year home school instructor to our 4 children. We teach meditation at no charge to interested persons as a social service. We have three children still at home. We homeschool and travel frequently, splitting our time between California and Arizona so as to accommodate practicing, teaching, and social service endeavors. Meditation and spiritual practices are the foundation of our family life and our community service work. Over the past 4 years, we have spent 2 – 3 months each year in India immersing oursevles in the philosophy, practices and service projects of Ananda Marga. |
